🐢 1,000+ nests protected · 🌍 12 countries · ✓ No experience needed

More than a trip. A mission.

Our volunteer programs put you right at the heart of wildlife conservation: real fieldwork, real impact, alongside the local teams who protect these species every day. No experience needed. Just bring your energy and a love for the wild.

What you'll do

Patrol wild beaches under the stars, protect nests, and watch tiny hatchlings make their first run to the sea. You'll get your hands dirty with the day to day work of conservation, and help gather the data that keeps these species safe for the next generation.

More than fieldwork

Beyond the beach, you can join environmental education projects in local schools and communities, sharing why this work matters and inspiring the next wave of conservationists. And with our drone and AI technology working alongside you, every hour you put in goes even further.

Who it's for

Adventurers, nature lovers, students, biologists, photographers: anyone who wants their next trip to actually mean something. Minimum age 18. All you need is decent fitness and a passion for protecting wildlife.

How long

From one week to one month. Season dates vary by destination, so pick yours below.

Costa Rica flagCosta Rica: Save Sea Turtles on the Pacific Coast

On the beaches of Guanacaste, thousands of sea turtles come ashore each season to nest, with over 1,000 nests on one of the most important green turtle beaches in the country. Working with local NGO Kuemar, you'll help protect them where it counts: on the sand, at night, under a sky full of stars and bioluminescence.

What you'll do here

Walk night patrols along wild nesting beaches, find and protect nesting turtles, move nests to safety away from poachers, and release hatchlings into the waves. You'll also join beach clean-ups and can take part in environmental education with local schools. And when the drones go up, you'll help turn what we see from the sky into real protection on the ground.

When

Season runs November to April. Stay from one week, and the longer you're here, the more turtles, nests and sunsets you'll be part of.

Where

You'll be based near Matapalo, Guanacaste, in simple cabins tucked into the wild: monkeys in the trees, coatis on the path, and the ocean a short walk away.

The turtles

Green turtles are the stars of the show, with olive ridleys and the occasional giant leatherback nesting along these shores.
